Impressively educated, Tina Holmes grew up in Connecticut and New York, and started her college education at Yale University. She then moved to Paris to study French literature at the Sorbonne, then moved back to the US to finish off a degree in Comparative Literature from Brown University. Around this time, she also started to appear in primetime on various TV hits like Third Watch, The Division, ER, Judging Amy, Strong Medicine, and NYPD Blue, all in 2003; and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2004.
